Meet the pastor

Suzanne Clemenz

Pastor Suzanne Clemenz has been a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church since the fall of 2017 and has been the pastor at Brookston UMC since October 2025. She is passionate about finding meaningful and creative ways to grow the congregation’s relationship with God and serve the community. She is also a chaplain at Lafayette Urban Ministry and at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. A certified spiritual director, Suzanne provides individual spiritual direction and has experience leading retreats. She is a Benedictine Oblate of Our Lady of Grace Monastery in Beech Grove, IN. Before entering pastoral ministry, Suzanne pursued a career in higher education and considers herself a lifelong learner. Originally from North Carolina, Suzanne has been an Indiana transplant for over 25 years. She and her husband Brent have three young adult sons and three cats.
